4 Mistakes When Trying To Earn Money On Forums and Communities
If you tried to make money online, you may have tried to win something with the thousands of forums and communities out there. There are many, are free, have thousands of users and most allow you to place a link to your site or blog.
However, if you already do or what you did, chances are you do not have money. In fact, it is likely that you have dealt with canceled accounts and emails from users who say, in various shades and colors, giving you no longer can.
And the reason is simple: people are tired of spam and very probably are not used to go to that audience. Although I am relatively new to making money online, I have many years using forums about many things.
In one of them, of which I am a member for almost 7 years, I not only became an active member, also made a reputation as an expert and won the confidence of many members. When I started to promote some of my products, they had to see is that forum, I had a very good response and I still, every time promoting something. When I started my site in that niche market, the forum was my first source of traffic after the site rose more than expected in a couple of months.
You mean you need to be 7 years in a group to sell something? No. Just do not make the following errors:
Failure to identify the market. Trying to sell a bikini on a forum for weight loss is not only unwise, it can be as rude. And yet, I see these ads every day. These are usually erased, ignored or generate negative comments from other members, which means that, besides the two, the advertiser remains hated by all.
Sell. Why, it's not for that? Maybe, but I do not want to sell me. I want to solve a problem, additional information or socializing with others. A member who gives me an idea how to do something or solve a problem, followed by a simple "to learn more, visit misitio.com" get much more audience to "solve your problem for $ $, visit misitio.com".
Not to participate. Place an ad is involved. When you enter or start a conversation, making intelligent comments or providing solutions to what is asked, you are a participant. When you put your ad only to see you get, you're a spammer, at least with respect to members of the group or community.
Lying, exaggerating or not to comply. In another forum it always (ALWAYS) can tell the truth or corroborate what you write. Although the cheap roll works for some cases in a forum you just find that you fail to burn yourself with the entire community.
Do not use a signature with your link. It seems incredible, but I've seen comments from people who have links but the signature does not appear, just put it when they announce something. This not only identifies your comments and sales efforts, they also lose a lot of traffic interested in what they offer.
Although some say that the forums are no longer a viable option, the reality is that they still are, not only to attract visitors, but also build your reputation and get links to your site. And everything is free, if you know how to handle. Even today, when most of my traffic comes from search engines, forums and communities always have me interested in my site traffic.
There are several ways to advertise on forums and communities, which are material for other items, but while these 4 do not make mistakes, you have a source of free traffic and interested for your site or blog. To learn more, visit How to Make Money Online
