Services are managed over Term Used?
Managed Services - what does it mean? If I am a small business owner, what managed services for my company?
The trend in the small space of the computer business has been this push toward "managed services" in recent years. Everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon of managed services. And 'This is the magic pill that will save your practice small business? The trends are moving into the software and hardware as services rather than products, but what does this mean for small business owners?
Managed Services small computer company in the space is actually a service that offers Small Business Specialist used to extend a level of service where you can best take care of small business technology needs. Offers a full-time computer help desk or IT department that allows small businesses to focus on their business and leave the problems associated with technology solutions provider for their confidence.
The problem is that today's small business consultants and owners of small business computer shops are too focused on providing these managed services offering, and forgetting the needs of the customer. I attended conferences in the last three or four years in which the conversations themselves are always present on how to compensate employees, how to bill, what services are offered and many others on how to provide the service. Why is this? We as consultants to lose sight of what is important for our business?
I have always focused on what the customer needs. However, the market is fully aware of what the client needs from a managed services approach to computer support? Not really wants small businesses managed services? Everyone in the IT space is jump on the bandwagon and think they know what the customer needs to managed services, but they forgot to ask the customer.
Managed Services must be positioned so that small business owners in such a way that shows real advantage for a small business. The "managed services" terminology is a forecast expenditure for a small business. Their IT support can now become a constant expenditure throughout the year that allows a small business budget for their IT support costs throughout the year.
Small Business today needs to be educated so that they understand what a managed services solution will benefit their business. The popular phrase that your potential or existing customer will always ask: "what is in it for me" rings true in this market depends on technology. This is not what is in it for the computer consulting company - always do what is in it for the customer. I'm seeing that small business IT support companies are still too focused on what's in it for them, and lose sight of what is for the customer. The small business specialists who clearly understand how to satisfy customer needs and requirements, will always win.
The term "managed services" is used. I have taken the approach that we are a professional services organization and not the word, talk about managed services to end customers. When you switch your mindset to offer a professional service and provide small businesses with an offer of professional services, no matter if you pay hourly, monthly, yearly - is on the services you offer and how to take care of your customer.
The small business market consists of four buying groups: stable, target mass, tipping and hard. The market tip is actively seeking a new solution to solve their pain, which is 3% of the market that are actively looking to replace their current offerings. The group of tipping can be tipped toward a new approach to help with their needs, which are 7% of the small business market that can be persuaded to consider new proposals to improve their business. The goal of affordable mass is a group that may not be aware they need a new solution. They are aware that their IT systems are having problems or specific areas are not even being looked after, 40% of your sales potential can come from this market. The stable market, not even looking, that's about 50% of the small business market today.
Small business consultants need to focus on what is best for their customers. It 's time to stop the excessive use of "managed services" in the long term and only take care of customer needs. You can have the best managed services business, however, if you focus too much on your own internal business needs and forget the needs of the customer, you end up with a well-planned activities of managed services, but existing trade .......
